Founded in 2009 by kitesurfing pioneer Felipe Azar, Kite Surf Punta Cana has grown into one of the Caribbean's premier IKO-certified kiteboarding schools.
From Pioneer to Premier

Felipe Azar started kitesurfing in 1997 — long before it was the popular sport it is today. His passion for the wind and water led him to Punta Cana, where he discovered a hidden gem: the protected reef lagoon at Cabeza de Toro.

In 2009, he founded Kite Surf Punta Cana with a simple mission: to share the joy of kitesurfing in the best possible learning environment. Over the years, the school has taught thousands of students from around the world, from complete beginners to advanced freestyle riders.

Today, as an IKO Affiliated Center and Duotone Authorized Dealer, we combine world-class instruction with premium equipment and luxury facilities at Pearl Beach Club. Our commitment to safety, quality, and student success remains unwavering.
